Country Cooking From A Redneck Kitchen

I’m still kind of new to the whole cooking thing.  I know how to make simple dishes, and have been trying to incorporate new meals every so often.  When I’m looking to try a new recipe, I always scan the ingredients first.  If there is more than one ingredient that I have never heard of or used, I move on.  I like to cook simply, and with ingredients I’ve actually heard of or know where to find them in the grocery store.


I’m absolutely in love with Country Cooking From A Redneck Kitchen.  I would say 98% of the recipes, I could make right now with the ingredients I already have in my kitchen.  No weird spices or add-ons I’ve never heard of.  The recipes remind me of food I would eat if I went home to my mom’s for dinner.  They are amazing!  The book offers such a variety as well.  It includes recipes for dips, soups, barbecue of course, pot pie, breads, and my favorite, desserts.


The book includes really beautiful pictures of the food, with easy to follow instructions.  If you’re a beginner in the kitchen, like me, this book is great!  Even if you’re not a beginner, the recipes are out of this world you must try.  I highly recommend Country Cooking From A Redneck Kitchen to anyone who cooks.  You won’t be disappointed!
