One of my main mantras in life is, “Everything in moderation.” I try to eat healthy as often as I can, but let’s be honest, I love food. I have learned over the years, that as soon as I restrict myself or tell myself I cannot have something, I end up eating more than I ever have. I love this cookbook for just that reason.
Eating in the Middle gives you healthy recipes, and recipes that are “better for you.” It teaches you how to eat in balance. I also love this cookbook because of the wide variety of foods. It has everything from pancakes, to salsa, to meatballs, and brownies. Most of the recipes include ingredients you can find in your own kitchen. Nothing too exotic or hard to find. I look forward to trying even more of the recipes, but the Greek Yogurt Pancakes were delicious. Even my kids loved them!
