After completing PiYo for the past couple of months I decided I wanted to try something new. I am doing the Spartan Run in a couple of weeks and feel like I need to amp up my endurance. I decided to do Insanity Max: 30. I needed a workout that was 30 minutes or less and one that would get me strong.
I have never done an Insanity workout, but I have completed T25. I thought it would be similar to that. I was super excited to start!
After the first workout I felt so out of shape; I “maxed out” at 8:12. I didn’t realize every single day was going to be so intense and so much cardio. I literally drip with sweat after each workout.
I think it’s great, though. I am working a lot harder than I did with PiYo, so I think it was a smart choice before doing the Spartan Run.
I am proud to say I completed the first week and am excited for my rest day tomorrow.
I weighed myself, took measurements, and before photos. I will be posting them at the end with my results. Look out week two, I’m coming for you!
